Welcome to Lowe Insights Consulting
Your one-stop shop for lasting solutions. We equip academic institutions with proactive conflict prevention strategies, building stronger environments where challenges turn into opportunities.
At Lowe Insights, we believe that conflict shouldn’t just be managed—it should be prevented before it escalates. Institutions of learning shape the minds and futures of the next generation, yet unresolved tensions between faculty, administrators, students, and external stakeholders create systemic challenges that hinder success, well-being, and institutional growth.
Through research-backed strategies, leadership development, and institutional transformation, we help universities, academic institutions, and education-focused organizations embed conflict provention into their structures, policies, and leadership models—creating sustainable cultures of trust, collaboration, and clarity.
“Our goal is to take the fear out of conflict, replacing avoidance with confidence and frustration with progress.”
About Us
“I believe true change comes when we stop settling for resolution and start striving for transformation.”
Dr. Nashay Lowe, Founder of Lowe Insights, is a Conflict Provention Strategist, Scholar-Practitioner, and Education Consultant with expertise in international conflict management, qualitative research, and organizational transformation.
With a Ph.D. in International Conflict Management and years of experience across academic institutions, research organizations, and policy-driven initiatives, Dr. Lowe has developed a provention-based framework that shifts institutions away from reactive crisis management and toward proactive conflict prevention.
Her approach ensures that educators, administrators, and students don’t just navigate challenges—they gain the tools to prevent recurring obstacles, build stronger academic communities, and shape the future of higher education.
Our Approach
Why Conflict Provention, and What is it?
“Resolving conflict isn't enough; we must reimagine and transform it.”
Provention, a term coined by John Burton, refers to the process of addressing the underlying causes of conflict before they manifest as disputes or crises. Unlike traditional conflict resolution, which reacts to conflict after it arises, provention focuses on systemic change, structural improvements, and addressing unmet human needs to create environments where conflict is less likely to occur.
Data shows ongoing patterns of conflict within academic institutions:
✔ Faculty-Administration Tensions: Lack of trust, misalignment on policies, and workplace dissatisfaction.
✔ Student Conflicts: Peer-to-peer disputes, student-professor miscommunications, and campus climate concerns.
✔ Staff Leadership Struggles: Institutional roadblocks, mismanaged expectations, and poor communication.
✔ Parent & Community Disputes: Conflicting interests that create external pressure on institutions.
These challenges drain institutional resources, impact student success, and create high-stress environments.
This is where we come in!
