Research-backed strategies, leadership development, and institutional transformation
We teach children math, science, and reading—but often overlook one of the most essential life skills: how to navigate conflict. By failing to teach this early, we unintentionally reinforce a culture that sees conflict as something to fear, avoid, or escalate. This gap contributes to the negative attitudes and reactive approaches we see in schools and workplaces today. At Lowe Insights, we believe conflict isn’t the problem—how we’re taught to handle it is. If we approached conflict as a skill to be learned rather than a problem to suppress, we could transform how future generations engage with themselves, each other, and the world.
While academic and workplace institutions may differ in mission and design, they face many of the same persistent challenges—low engagement, inconsistent performance, toxic environments, and difficulty sustaining long-term growth or success. Tackling these issues through a holistic lens is essential to creating environments that are responsive, inclusive, and built to last.
Our transformative framework helps institutions and organizations shift from reactive conflict management to proactive, root-cause solutions. By treating conflict as a skill to be developed—not a disruption to be suppressed—we help build the perspective, processes, and provention strategies needed for long-term transformation.
“Our goal is to take the fear out of conflict, replacing avoidance with confidence and frustration with progress.”

WHAT WE DO
Data shows ongoing patterns of conflict within institutions:
-
Lack of trust, misalignment on policies, and workplace dissatisfaction.
-
Peer-to-peer disputes, student professor miscommunications, and campus climate concerns.
-
Institutional roadblocks, mismanaged expectations, and poor communication.
-
Conflicting interests that create external pressure on institutions.
These challenges drain organizational resources, undermine success, and create high-pressure environments that affect everyone involved.
This is where we come in!
“Resolution is the first step—transformation is the goal.”
We specialize in building relational systems that fuel trust, collaboration, and long-term success.
At Lowe Insights, we believe strong relationships are the backbone of every thriving institution. We partner with leaders and communities to move beyond reactive problem-solving and toward proactive alignment — creating spaces where connection drives achievement.
OUR APPROACH
WHY CONFLICT PROVENTION - WHAT IS IT?
“Resolving conflict isn't enough; we must reimagine and transform it.”
Provention, a term coined by John Burton, refers to the process of addressing the underlying causes of conflict before they manifest as disputes or crises. Unlike traditional conflict resolution, which reacts to conflict after it arises, provention focuses on systemic change, structural improvements, and addressing unmet human needs to create environments where conflict is less likely to occur.
1. Conflict Provention Strategic Planning
From Reaction to Resolution: Building a Proactive Culture of Conflict Transformation
Conflict Provention Strategic Planning is at the core of all of services as we aim to help organizations move from reactive conflict management to proactive, system-wide transformation. Grounded in a structured three-phase process—Conflict Analysis, Strategic Planning, and Implementation—we guide teams to identify root causes, design aligned interventions, and embed sustainable practices across the organization, building a stronger, more collaborative culture from the inside out.
2. Effective Communication & Leadership Development
Equipping Leaders to Build Stronger, More Collaborative Cultures
